While people in the northern hemisphere are gleeful and excited about the coming summer, I can assure you that winter is rolling along in the southern hemisphere. Autumn has arrived with cooler days and chilly nights, a taste of things to come.

Winter is making itself felt in my part of the world. If you don’t know the country in which I live, please feel free to IM me in world 🙂
Sometimes I think that misery comes to haunt me each winter because I’m jinxed. So, this year i am determined to banish all sorts of misery from both my physical and virtual lives.
So, I’m surrounding myself with brilliant colours, wonderful people, innovative projects. This dress from JE Republic is a good start
A trip to Shade Throne to see the talent of Undo Hermano did wonders in lifting me from a miserable state of mind

My next stop was right next door to Shade Throne in the Judith sim, JE Republic. A perfect dress, Danse Macabre in purple, and for mix and match I am wearing the glitter bodysuit in red. I have mixed this with Chiffon skirt from SMS
And! Today’s Wonder Find, new release shoes from Zaara : Ilaida Mojri – I chose a small pack to mic with my favourite colours. These are just precious, beautifully made and textured

Despite the time I spent people watching at the opening of the new Tableau today, I did in fact manage to get in a spot of shopping. True to form, these new designs from Paper Couture, Clawtooth, Kenzie & Co, Tres Blah and others that I need to go back to investigate further, are vibrant, luxuriously textured, elegant, finely finished and refreshing. Shall we see?
This first look is casual: I’ve teamed the short crop top from Kenzie & Co with the Shark cardy from Tres Blah. The skirt is from SMS and the shoes are C.Edo from Truth.
This stunning outfit is from Paper Couture and includes the turban and day gloves. Jewellery is from Glow Studios, shoes from Baiastice.
Here you can see this is a nice afternoon length.

Today’s outfit I built around the hair, which is available as part of 50 Linden friday from !Lamb in two colours.
I have added this very versatile feather skirt from SMS. This is different, exceptionally well made and goes with so many things. My red tank is from Ohmai and was part of a recent Starlust hunt. I felt I needed the tank as my shape is rather small breasted and the lovely deep V shirt from This Is a Fawn (also part of this week’s 50 Linden friday) would plunge away to nowhere without it. Anyway, on to the look!
I’ve also added this absolutely yummy belt from Mandala, it sits very well on my hips without interrupting the swing of the skirt. My scarf was a group gift from Miel
As you can see there is a nice swishiness to the skirt. The fishnet tights are from Blowpop
I thought the Bella Painted red lips from Ugly Duck was the perfect accompaniment to my red and black theme. Also the paleness of the skin offsets well.
My earrings are from a sale currently going on at Glow Studios. Hurry and go before it finishes!
Lastly, my boots I have selected in black leather from the multi colour option. These are from Kalnins Footwear
Gutterblood Spoonhammer made these boots, they are available at his store ROT on the ERROR sim. He has all sorts of goodies there, but I love these boots.
There is a minimum of scripts in the boots – you can change the resolution low/medium/high, and you have a choice of three colours. I favour the red shown here, which I think of as crimson. They do not have a resize script, so you will have to adjust by edit/stretch for the two pieces per boot. this is easy to do. these are unisex boots.
