While people in the northern hemisphere are gleeful and excited about the coming summer, I can assure you that winter is rolling along in the southern hemisphere. Autumn has arrived with cooler days and chilly nights, a taste of things to come.

Winter Comes in The South

Although not yet fully bulked up for mid winter, I’m dressed for a typical autumn day. This sleeveless vest from SMS is just the thing to wear with my tweedy skirt from Boom

Shine On My Friends

This post is based around the pair of pants above. These are actually paint spattered pants, but with my super dooper new NVIDIA GE Force GTX 580 card, they looked to me to be spangled. I got them from the Chic Limited event, and they are made by Bliss

After wandering around Chic Unlimited for a while, I saw another store close by and went to look. It was Peqe, and the first thing that rezzed was the shirt I am wearing, which I thought was just an absolute perfect match for the pants. Thus the look came to be.

Shine On My Friends

I’d bought the hair some time back from Purple Moon – if you want some really exotic arty hair, this is definitely the place to find it!

Shine On My Friends

The jewellery is from Mandala, and I love the pierced earrings. My skin of course is from the talented artist Fade Lei.

Iota Ultsch of Tres Jolie has recently released a limited edition, the ‘Crucifix’ dress. I am showing it here in Melange

Spice of Melange

The dress has a very bouffant skirt, reminiscent of 1950s and 1960s styling

The Tuli pumps from Shiny Things gives a vibrant contrast to this outfit

This outfit comes complete with oversized flower hat. I am also wearing the Sinra set from Mandala

Change of seasons, time to change image, at least slightly.

This time I purchased an off the shelf shape from Vliet. I was attaracted to this shaper because the shapes have real looking faces and are not all cartoony eyes and mouths. Having said that, I did my own personalised changes to the shoulder breadth and breast gravity, as I prefer them not pointing at my face, but to have a little natural sag. Gravity works you know!

Sunny Sunday Afternoon

I’ve deliberately left the eyelashes off, and a simpler style of makeup to show the features of the shape face

Sunny Sunday Afternoon

I really abhor over stuffed breasts that I see so often, and especially the ill fitting shaders to pretend there is no gravity (breast enhancers). Most breast enhancers look more like a bum poking out the top of the dress, quite silly really. My new shape has naturally sized breasts, smallish but shapely

Sunny Sunday Afternoon

Really nice movement too. No clunky body parts drifting, legs proportionate to the body
