For those of you who haven’t heard, the latest release of the Emerald Viewer is now available for download.

I have been notified of an issue with the 1585 release where image uploads are not the highest quality.
The hotfix below will solve this issue if you need it.

Apparently a lot of people (me included) had a lot of trouble getting the new version to run successfully, even though we’d been running previous versions with no trouble.
If you run the new version and get a message about sidebyside configuration, download and run the fix on this page:
http://www.modularsystems.sl/wiki/wikka.php?wakka=ApplicationHasFailed

Once you have run this, try opening the new emerald again, and you should be able to log in 🙂
