During my meanderings here and there, I stumbled across the name ‘Rustica‘ which piqued my curiosity enough to take a look to take some photographs. On arrival I was confronted by jaw-dropping beauty, the likes of which I have rarely seen in this virtual world.
Unbeknownst to me, I was greeted by the creator of this beautiful landscape, Maxwell Graf. I say this because although he was deep in conversation with me, I had crashed badly. However upon relog I was able to respond to him, and arrange a satisfactory disposition for the both of us.
I had intended to use the sim as a backdrop for fashion photography, but truly I could not do this without first taking some photos to show you of this build and the surrounding sims. Maxwell Graf has used our virtual environment as a canvas to bewitch and inspire us, beguile and transform our virtual lives, seduce and satiate our senses.
Neighboring Rustica are the sims of LagNmoor and Rune, both equally enchanting, however I only got as far as LagNmoor this visit.
Buildings, landscape, accessories in fact most things you can see are available for purchase.
My photographs do not do this justice. This is not a series of builds, this is art from an artist. Please go and visit for yourself, you will not regret it I can assure you.

very nice place pity only people with payments accounts are allowed…and no newbies .I wanted to show the sim to a friend and was so embarassed when he could not TP…
Obviously all that beauty is only for people with money..not art but business.

You could not be more wrong, it is ALL about the Art, however I am sure you appreciate that artists also need to eat and pay their bills, therefore there is a business side to it.
Alas, because content theft is rampant across the internet and particuarly virtual environments, most content creators have been forced to take steps to protect their creations. Can you begin to imagine the distress and helplessness at seeing your work, into which you have poured your blood, sweat and tears, copied wholesale and available for sale at a pittance on xsteeet?
A very easy way to at least attempt to protect your creations is to limit access to people who:-
a) have bothered to make a full SL account and therefore have payment info on file, and
b) are more than 30 days old.
These two measures are commonly used to prevent access by content thieves who traditionally do NOT have payment info on file and have avatars that are only a few days old. It also scoops up people innocent of either of these things. This is unfortunate but is a price that we all end up paying. It may be worth your while contacting the sim owner directly to discuss possibilities.
Again, I need to repeat that it is ALL about the Art, and protecting that Art and the Artist.

you are partially right…pity I contacted the sim owner and he never replied.
We all were newbies once, thanks God we could explore and admire art even if we were poor and still with no accounts or we would probably have left SL very soon.
Sorry I can’t appreciate a politic that punishes innocents for what others do…even if I undertand what you mean I won’t go back to that sim, and I’m very sorry for that because I saw from your pixs that was very nice.
