On June 24, Iranian Superstar Andy Madadian went into an LA recording studio with Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora and American record producers Don Was and John Shanks to record a musical message of worldwide solidarity with the people of Iran. This version of the old Ben E. King classic is not for sale – it was not meant to be on the Billboard charts or even manufactured as a CD…..it’s intended to be downloaded and shared by the Iranian people…to give voice to the sentiment that all people of the world stand together….the handwritten Farsi sign in the video translates to “we are one”. If you know someone in Iran – or someone who knows someone in Iran – please share this link
Neda Soltani, the 26 year old Iranian woman, whose brutal death has become a rallying cry for the international community, was laid to rest today. From prayer vigils to a Facebook site honoring “The Angel Of Iran”, many are hoping that her senseless death will not be in vain. Unfortunately many more will probably die as revolutions more often than not are bloody. I hope that the Iranians can soon be as free as we are to pursue our hopes and dreams.

Hey Mr Dreamseller, where have you been,
tell me have you dreams I can see?
I came along, just to bring you this song,
Can you spare one dream for me?
Again I return to the realm of The Dream Merchants, to revel in the growing environment being created.
You won’t have met me, and you’ll soon forget me,
so don’t mind me tugging at your sleeve.
I’m asking you, if I can fix a rendezvous.
For your dreams are all I believe.
This world is growing before my eyes…
Meet me on the corner when the lights are coming on,
and I’ll be there, I promise I’ll be there.
Down the empty streets we’ll disappear until the dawn
if you have dreams enough to share.
I find a notice nailed to a post – this is intriguing
Lay down your bundles, of rags and reminders,
and spread your wares on the ground.
Well I’ve got time, if you deal in rhyme,
I’m just hanging around.
I know I must return soon, to see the magic created by Dream Merchants, Alchemy and Immortalis Cyannis

This has got to be one of the most summery dresses I have seen this season. Newly released by Bijou in a variety of colours, it expressed the joy and exhuberance that is part of the season.
Of course it beautifully suits my recently acquired skins from League

I have new skins! These beautiful skins by League come in a fatpack with a price too good to resist, so I didn’t even try. I am dressed in a glorious flowy summer dress from Reale.
This shot shows ‘lifted and separated’ cleavage, which rather suits the rather diminished size breasts my avatar has
This photo shows you a close up of the face, which I think gives me a more mature look that my usual skins.
Finally, the ‘pushed and shoved up’ version of cleavage.

To my pleasant surprise, I rediscovered this delightfully whimsical store. The creator, Guerrilla Gobo, gives each and every design a very unique name. Melatonin Hax of SplitPea fame has made a range of equally unique hats to match up with most of the H & V dresses. Such fun!

There’s also a great little video here
I stumbled upon a great store, Reale, some time back and it’s now a firm favourite.
Mallu Mayo is the creator behind this Label – her designs are detailed, lavish, high quality textures and piecing, as well as cute! Here is her latest release, in sky blue.
This is a perfect combination for fine country walks, or city shopping.
I’ve teamed the new Reale blouse with crisp white pants from Mimikri
Closer viewing shows you the delicate crochet work at the throat also
And of course, come in a full range of summery colours.

I received a pair of gumboots as a gift for being part of the Alchemy Immortalis subscribomatic group last night. these are a prototype and really appeal to me. These boots are also traditionally known as wellington boots, or wellies. Perfect for stomping around through booggy ground, wading through shallow water, and altogether adding a sense of practicality to my dress. Speaking of which, this dress is a favourite from Artilleri, a timeless classic.
My hair is a wonderful find from Fashionably Dead at Hair Fair 09. This style is named Dorothy’s Morning and comes in a full variety of flavours. My skin is my usual from Curio.
These boots are perfect for crossing flooded creeks
These boots are a prototype, and I am quite confident the final version will be worthy.
A final close up of the lovely Curio skin and Fashionably Dead hair.
