Oh, to be in England
Now that April’s there,
And whoever wakes in England
Sees, some morning, unaware,
That the lowest boughs and the brushwood sheaf
Round the elm-tree bole are in tiny leaf,
While the chaffinch sings on the orchard bough
In England – now!
Robert Browning (1812-1889)
I dropped by Embryo intending to spend a few minutes – it turned into 2 hours. I thought I would share my photographs with you.
Embryo is the perfect place for idyllic whiling away of an afternoon, pondering many things, but especially the southern hemisphere winter that is upon me.
This exquisitely assembled dress from Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice comes in a range of delicate spring shades. The pink I have chosen compliments my Curio skin by Gala Phoenix in Redbud.
Embryo also includes an underwater garden, where you can watch the fireflies cavort through the tangle of plants. Best to set to midnight!

I watched Chakryn Forest being built a couple of years ago now, with much love and endless energy of Bettina Tizzy. It has grown since I first saw it, so there is so much more now through which to wander.
Come with me! Let us commune with the Water Elemental and undertake a grand heroic quest of epic proportions:
A beautful sim for photographic shoots, Chakryn Forest is well worth a visit. You can also enjoy the quest/game laid out there.

“Sounds of laughter shades of life
are ringing through my open ears
exciting and inviting me
Limitless undying love which
shines around me like a million suns
It calls me on and on across the universe ”
this one’s for Mark
After leaving the Temple of the Stone Monkey, I decided my pilgrimage was contained perhaps a little too much to planet Earth, and I should venture further afield. Perhaps the answers I seek may be here…
Meditation is good for the soul, specially when seated cross legged in zero gravity. However, life is too exciting to while it away in a trance. Dancing across the stars is so much more fun!
My beautiful dress for this leg of my journey is from SUGARCUBE, a store I have taken great pleasure in watching as its designer develops and produces lovely things 🙂

Do you wish to have your senses touched, visually and aurally, whilst in one of the most diverse architecture and art builds across the grid? Then take a visit to Locus, home of the Cetus Institute.
Here you will find work of artists such as Eshi Otawara, DB Bailey, Dizzy Banjo, Skip Gaffer, Glyph Graves and many, many more. These are interactive works, not for the timid of heart.
I have spent many hours here and still have not seen everything. You also will become lost in this unique environment.

“In the worlds before Monkey, primal chaos reigned. Heaven sought order. But the phoenix can fly only when its feathers are grown. The four worlds formed again and yet again, as endless aeons wheeled and passed. Time and the pure essences of Heaven, the moisture of the Earth, the powers of the Sun and the Moon all worked upon a certain rock, old as creation. And it became magically fertile. That first egg was named “Thought”. Tathagata Buddha, the Father Buddha, said, “With our thoughts, we make the World”. Elemental forces caused the egg to hatch. From it then came a stone monkey. The nature of Monkey was irrepressible!”
I continued today on my great personal journey of discovery, this time wandering the Great Wall of China. This sim brought immediately to my mind, the now-cult classic “Magic Monkey” screened in Australia, New Zealand and the UK during the late 70s and early 80s. It reveals the journey of Monkey and his companions, as described in the book ‘Journey to the West’ by Wu Cheng’en. I decided this was an opportune time to commune with the monkey guardians at the Stone Monkey Temple.
It was a calming time for reflection as I sipped my coffee at 5am in a desperate attempt to awaken. Mondays are a killer.
I asked the ancient Sage Monkey if he had any words of wisdom for a pilgrim such as I, but he just growled at me and told me to go away. So I danced on the roof instead

A little while back I stumbled across a unique build.
The creativity, execution and skill that has gone into this build is beyond belief. Exquisite care has been taken with the finest details, and I thought, what better a place to show off the beautiful Bloggers gift kindly given by Evangeline Miles from Evie’s Closet.
The gown was simply begging for heavily encrusted gems and exotic hair, so I obliged.
